What is the best inexpensive blu-ray player on the market?

If I am not interested in the picture and sound quality and upscaling of standard DVDs. I do not need Internet content for special functions, or streaming video on Netflix, etc.. I just want to play movies in HD.

PS3 is really your best bet. It could cost more than the cheapest players, but the best value for money. If you go with the cheaper players, you drive crazy waiting for content to load - a few minutes in some cases!
