NXG Technology Announces All New HDMI Cable Lineup for 2012
NXG Technology, a leader in HDMI technology and home audio, has announced the product launch of three new HDMI cable lines for 2012. The three lines include the top of the line Black Pearl series, mid-level Onyx cables and the more affordable Basix series of HDMI cables. Was going to choose between W4100 and XF550U, and I am very glad that I went with the XF. My brother in law has the W4100 and I was a little disappointed with the picture, and more so with the picture adjustments. The swivel base is very very cool. Not as good as a plasma, but very good. The 120Hz does seem to jutter a little more then I expected, but most TVs that have that capability still to work on it. The color is spot on and the blacks are surprisingly good for an LCD. I did like the menu on the W4100 over the XF. But, aside from that the TV is great. I have the Onkyo SR606 and the controls from either or control each other through the CEC capability. This is a great TV. Got it at Costco for 1299. The SD picture quality was better then I expected....
