I have a sony hidef 42" a LG dvd recorder a dvd vhs combo and a cable box how do i hook all this stuff up?

I need to know how to hook it all up. I had the TV for a year but the VHS and DVD combo DVD recorder LG are new. Looking for an online guide or some kind of impression that can guide me. What should I use cables?

Well, it would be much easier if you gave an overview of what you have models, but here are some options:
If you convert to put LG DVD / VCR, and use the HDMI cable to connect to your TV.

Laptop: Lenovo G570 Laptop “Huxley” After using Spiro, my trusty Dell Inspiron for five years, I finally upgraded to a new laptop. Desktop #1: Custom Windows7/Ubuntu Desktop “Orwell” This ageing system uses an AMD Phenom Quad Core processor, 8GB RAM and a TB HDD. I’m not much of a video gamer these days and since budget is always a concern for me I ended up snagging my Lenovo with an i3 processor, 6GB RAM, 750GB SATA HDD, and all the other basic amenities running Windows 7 and Linux Mint for around $US400. It’s currently running Windows 7 and Ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot. Later in the year I’m planning on a new motherboard/processor/SSD drive. Desktop #2: White iMac G5 20-inch (late 2007) “Atwood” This is my wife’s computer that I use when I’m testing out Mac apps.
