Must I pay a boatload of "pocket change" (i.e.: $30+++) for a wireless adapter for (Panasonic) Blu-ray player?
For now, Panasonic has a fair price (s) Blu Ray (apprx $ 125) for those who NetFlix streaming, etc., but apparently a wireless adapter is req'd unless my router were in the same room as the player (very doubtful ...
Unless you get it as a package .. you must purchase the wireless adapter, and of course it will be specific to the Panasonic player, like everyone else. you will not be Able to use a universal.

Current popular VIERA Connect apps include Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, Amazon Instant Video, and much more. It also has Panasonic's own 3D VIERA Image Viewer for 3D playback of photos and movies, as well as support for VIERA Link. If you don't want to invest in the 3D glasses (and maybe even a Blu-ray 3D player) now, this is still an awesome 2D TV. It has that full high-def image, the 600Hz subfield drive, two USB ports and three HDMI inputs. One of the best VIERA features, however, is Panasonic's own VIERA Connect platform. This 3D TV features active 3D technology and promises a full 1080p image to each eye. "And it also happens to do 3D, quite well I might add. New for 2011, this feature allows viewers to access a variety of web-based entertainment, all from the included remote.Check Out Samsung UN46C8000 46-Inch 1080p 3D 240 Hz LED HDTV for Too low to display

This isn't important if you're using surround sound (which I only can on select days), but it is important if you're going to output the audio to a virtual surround sound headset (like those from Turtle Beach or Astro) which I have to use to fully... Best quality TV I've ever owned with by far the best picture and clarity. This is the best TV you can get at the best price right now....
